Ingredients

  • - 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • - 12 oz 340g fettuccine pasta
  • - 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 3 tbsp butter
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Chicken:** Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside to rest, then slice into strips.
  • Cook the Pasta:** Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Alfredo Sauce:** In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, whisking continuously.
  • Add Cheese:** Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine the Pasta and Sauce:** Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Gently fold in the sliced chicken.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
